Literature analysis #2

October 2
The story Fahrenheit 451 is a scientific novel by Ray Bradbury, the novel shows a futuristic dystopia and opens some parallels between our world and theirs. The novel explores the ideas of censorship and how much it affects our everyday life Anyone can wonder and ask about what they are curious about. In the novel, the citizens aren’t allowed to know anything unless they’re told. The character Mildred is an example of this, she is only known to what she is told. Mildred is only attached to the characters on her tv screen and is unaware of her surroundings. In the book, we are taught that there is no speed limit, but drivers aren’t allowed to drive slow. The more you read the more knowledge you receive even if it isn’t much. By banning the books, the characters in the story were limited to what occurred and what is occurring. We are not as limited, as a society, about the things going on around us.
