So this guy goes for a walk

My first impression on young good man brown was how pure and innocent the love he had for his wife. And the sweet innocent partings they shared. Then it goes mysteriously into a forest where he meets an old man and a talking serpent stick. These can be portrayed as the devil and I’m worried to what’s going to happen to this good man.

August 15 The Socratic method can be a good idea when students in the class make it welcoming and no one feels belittled by their ideas. The article mentions that it is sometimes used to tear down ideas they hear. Its not a debate and there should be no strong judgement against the others thoughts. There should be acknowledge and if there is disagreement just letting their side be known. With a group full of teenagers its hard because everyone wants to be right. With a class full of nerds no one wants to be told their wrong or embarrassed by something they said. When everyone is accepting it makes the Socratic so much easier because no one is scared of sounding stupid.
